Windscape is riding the winds of release for this March

Headup have announced that Windscape, the game inspired by the likes of The Legend of Zelda and Secret of Mana from developer Dennis Witte is going to release in full on PC, as well as Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on March 27.

The game hit early access on Steam back in 2016 and now, almost three years later, Dennis' hard work and passion as well as the extremely helpful feedback from the community.

In Windscape you meet peaceful NPCs on the surface of each island and vicious monsters in the dungeons and lairs you uncover along your journey. While the islands to work in a non-linear manner, the dungeons are more puzzle and combat driven - each with its own style and atmosphere. However, brute force won't get you far in larger boss fights. Tactics and figuring out your enemies' combat patterns are key to defeating larger foes such as ghosts, ogres and dragons. Your effort will be rewarded of course - there are many valuable items to loot.

The game is available now in early access on PC, and anyone who opts in via that method will get a 20% discount off the full release price. Those on Xbox One and Switch are not left out either, as both platforms will offer discounts ahead of release, check the local store for when they are available.
