Hitman comes back to consoles next week

IO Interactive have announced that Hitman is making another trip to current consoles with the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection, coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The collection includes Absolution and Blood Money, some of the best Hitman games created, but perhaps the best news is that it will be out digitally next friday, January 11th.

“We’re very happy with this collection and how we were able to update and remaster two of our classic Hitman titles for modern consoles,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO, IO Interactive. “Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution have helped us on our journey to where we are today, and we’re looking forward to players enjoying them in 4K and 60 fps.”

Those who pick up the collection can expect 4K visuals, complete with upgraded texture resolution, super-sampling and upscale support. Improved lighting and heightened shadow maps and reflective resolutions are also here as well.

Even the controller has been remapped, giving players a simpler set of controls.
