Both World of Tanks Blitz and Warships Blitz get new content, thanks to Tokyo Game Show

Wargaming is celebrating the kick off of the 2018 Tokyo Game Show, announcing new content for both World of Warships Blitz and World of Tanks Blitz.

A new tank straight from SEGA's Valkyria Chronicles 4, the Hafen, is releasing today in World of Tanks Blitz. This Tier VII tank will join the three others taken from the universe and will be available until 30 September.

The Hafen is a hero that boasts both speed and maneuverability and is certainly to strike the fancy of both fans of the universe and those unfamiliar to the series. With an aggressive play-style, it is able to deal some serious damage and overcome obstacles that lie in its way.

The latest update to World of Warships Blitz features 4 new Japanese destroyers that focus on stealthy attacks backed with tremendous firepower meaning those who want to play a bit more sneakily are perfectly suited to these new vessels.

Along with this update, a never-before-seen ship is ready to hit the high seas. The Japanese Battleship, Ise is new to the entire World of Warships universe and is a unique hybrid ship: part carrier, part battleship. This Tier VII fusion is a battleship with bomber plane squadrons that provide versatile gameplay. The Ise has a high health pool for its tier and carries big caliber weaponry in its arsenal. She is best suited for combat at mid- to long-range against thinly armored targets such as cruisers and destroyers.

Lastly, a new port is available to those with Tier VI or higher Japanese ships. This port, named Zipangu, will put you in the Land of the Rising Sun with the iconic and stunning Mount Fuji in the backdrop.
