Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana is coming to Nintendo Switch
Last week during the Nintendo Direct Mini, NIS America announced that they were bringing Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana to Nintendo Switch, with the release happening sometime this Winter.
The game was released last year onto PlayStation 4 and is coming in a short while to PC, but this will mark the series return to a Nintendo platform after the 2008 Wii Virtual Console and the first new Ys game in 8 years.
In this new game, you will take on the role of Adol, as he is shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island. There, he and the other shipwrecked passengers he rescues form a village to challenge fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the isolated island. Amidst this, Adol begins to dream of a mysterious blue-haired maiden living in an unknown world. Join Adol as he unravels the riddle of the cursed isle and the blue-haired maiden Dana in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA!
The release on Switch will come with some exclusive features, but no word on what those are at this time.
