Mojang has announced that Minecraft is finally making its way to Wii U, with Minecraft Wii U edition, coming December 18th.

The game will come with 6 additional texture and skin packs already bundled within and then down the line additional ones will be released with themes like Star Wars, Doctor Who and The Simpsons included.

The game will also support off TV play, should you need to surrender use of your TV to someone else. Now, here are some screens of the game in action and look for it next week.
