E3 2015 - PlayStation Extras
While there were many games from Sony on show at E3, there was not enough time to sit down and play them all to a point where I could form a solid opinion, but these games I did play and wanted to share a little about them.
Ratchet & Clank
This movie adaptation which is based off a game is stunning, there is no other word to describe it, the title looks like a Pixar movie that you can control, but it might look even better than that. The game is a remake of the PS2 classic and from the brief time I spent with the title has me wanting more.
God of War 3 Remastered
This game was actually tucked away in the corner of the PlayStation booth and was not drawing much of a crowd, mostly because I assume that people were not either aware it was there or that they cared. The game plays really well and looks good, but I did not see any real differences between this PS4 version and the old PS3 one.
Drawn To Death
From the mind of David Jaffe, Drawn to Death takes the idea of classroom doodles and turns it into a competitive shooter, while it sounds silly it's quite a fun game. The premise is that some talented kid has gotten board in class and decided to create this world, where their drawings have come to life. The shooting mechanics were solid, the weapons were zany and it just sucks you in with it's style, how it goes gaining a following upon release is something I can’t predict, but I am sure it will gain one.
Until Dawn
I have to say the game did not grab me from what I played, but it was a vertical slice and it showed off what the game was trying to do, but as it's a game best played in a dark room with good sound, a loud space with lots of bright lights might not be the best place to try it. That all being said, I am intrigued by the game and it's potential, it has a lot of star power in it, not sure if that translates to a good game, but it has the right pieces.
