Sony Brings Back The Walkman

For those who demand only the best in music playback quality while on the run, Sony delivers the new Walkman NWZ-ZX1, thirty five years after the original cassette tape version hit the shelves. Using its proprietary audio technologies and support for HRA to offer up to seven times the audio quality than a CD can deliver, this high-performance portable music player takes listeners right into the recording studio or concert.

Powered by an OMAP 4 Cortex-A9 1GHz dual-core processor, the Walkman NWZ-ZX1 has the latest S-Master HX digital amplifier built in, which helps to reduce distortion and noise at all frequency ranges and is optimised for HRA. Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE HX) technology  upgrades the audio quality of existing compressed sound files combined with ClearAudio+  to ensure realistic audio playback of ground-shaking lows to delicate highs.

Featuring a clean and sleek design with aluminum body, brass-plated components and a leather backing, the flagship Walkman NWZ-ZX1 comes with 128GB of built-in memory capable of storing HRA content equivalent to approximately 800 songs.
