Seth Green and Matt Senreich Talk Star Wars: Detours

On the heels of Robot Chicken creators  Seth Green and  Matthew Senreich unveiling footage from  Star Wars: Detours at the recent Star Wars Celebration VI convention, I had a chance to speak to the duo about their new comedic, animated series - set in a galaxy far, far away and developed with George Lucas himself.
Our conversation about Detours came at the tail end of a longer talk with Green, Senreich and DC’s  Geoff Johns about the new Robot Chicken DC Comics Special -- which you’ll find on IGN TV this Friday -- which is why you’ll see Johns enter the conversation below at one point, though he is not involved with Detours.
IGN: As far as an episode of Star Wars: Detours is concerned, is it going to be that sort of quick-cutting, Robot Chicken skit style?
Seth Green: No. This is my favorite thing about it. I wouldn’t say it’s serialized, but it’s episodic. It’s not sketch-based, it’s not short form. It’s like a sitcom.
