Star Wars: The Old Republic   got great reviews and was seen by many as a worthy successor to BioWare's beloved Knights of the Old Republic. But it's suffered   declining subscriber numbers   and had to deal with   layoffs . Now they're trying to reverse the trend with free play… up to a point.

If you haven't yet tried the game, you'll now be able to play it up to level 15 completely free and with no time limit. If you tried the game through one of the previous free weekend trials or using a referral from a friend, the offer will also be open to you. Origin Worlds will be open as well as Flashpoints and PvP zones.
