Xbox and Cure Cancer team up for some very special edition consoles

Xbox and Cure Cancer, a group dedicated to raising funds for researching cures for cancer, have teamed up to raise money by auctioning off three exclusive designs, inspired by Dr. Kulasinghe’s award-winning cancer research.

The distinctive design on the consoles draws inspiration from Dr. Kulasinghe’s spatial tumour mapping approach developed in collaboration with Akoya Biosciences and Nanostring Technologies, a process that allows medical experts and specialists to identify cellular architecture and areas of that are resistant to treatment for the first time. The tumour mapping can be life-changing for those who are undergoing cancer treatment.

These groundbreaking realisations of how cells organise and communicate have been captured by these images that are now featured on the Xbox Series X consoles. With Xbox and Cure Cancer, we’ve been able to further highlight the transformative leaps we’ve achieved in cancer research.
