TopSpin 2K25 has been announced and that is all

Less than a day after we hit publish on our 2024 edition of What Are Take-Two Working On, where we commented on that Hangar 13 was working on a new TopSpin game, 2K revealed it to be true.

Sadly they didn’t reveal a whole lot about the game, outside of teasing it now as the Australian Open is currently happening.

We’re excited to unveil TopSpin 2K25 with 2K during the Australian Open. The return of this franchise, with 2K’s prowess in game development, supports Tennis Australia’s objective of making The Australian Open the world’s most accessible sports and entertainment event, inviting fans from all corners of the globe to engage with the excitement year-round. At Tennis Australia, we believe ‘playing’ makes life better, while our vision is to create a playful world through tennis for everyone. Our partnership with 2K aims to bring the thrill and excitement of Tennis to gaming enthusiasts worldwide.
— Cedric Cornelis, Chief Commercial Officer at Tennis Australia

This is the first tennis game from 2K since 2011’s TopSpin 4, so its been a while. Beyond the teaser below, there are no other bits of info to share, there is no release window, though I would imagine the end of 2024 at the earliest, if not the start of 2025. There are also no platforms, though its likely for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, leaving last-gen behind.
