We have known for a long time that Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game was coming, we even got confirmation of the first console recently, but now we have a full reveal, including gameplay and all supported platforms. Check out the new trailer below.
In Tales of the Shire, experience the storybook return to Middle-earth’s most inviting region by living life as a Hobbit in the idyllic town of Bywater. Unwind in the breathtaking pastures, visit the townsfolks’ local shops, or even enjoy second breakfast. Help bring the community together and achieve official village status by throwing the greatest Bywater Festival the Shire has ever seen!

Settle into your own cosy Hobbit home, selecting from a variety of furniture and décor to craft your own quaint dwelling. Venture outside to Bywater for an array of tranquil activities in the Shire, such as cooking, fishing, foraging, and gardening. Cast your line to snag trout in the shimmering Bywater Pool, forage for wild mushrooms, and use your gathered bounty to concoct a delicious pie for lunch. Satiated, meander through the Shire and forge bonds with the Bywater folk by assisting in their gardens, partaking in the frequent Hobbit feasts, and more.
The game is coming later this year to PC, Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but there is no firm date yet.
