Set your GPS as Broken Roads has a release date for April

Local developer Drop Bear Bytes have announced that their isometric RPG Broken Roads, will release for PC, PlayStation and Xbox on April 10, with the Switch version coming soon after. In celebration of the news, we have a new trailer to enjoy, so check it out.

In the game players will discover a game that offers up exploration, strategic turn-based combat and philosophical choices, that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Australian setting.

Broken Roads aims to blend traditional role-playing elements on top of a classless system, that should offer near-unlimited character development options built around four philosophies: Humanist, Utilitarian, Machiavellian, and Nihilist.

Furthermore the game presents players with an original morality system: the Moral Compass which sees dialogue options and questing decisions influence, and be influenced by, a character's philosophical leaning and the tough decisions they make along the way.

We appreciate the community’s patience in allowing us to give Broken Roads the polish and attention it needed to get to the finish line. Broken Roads is now in its best state ever, with more polish, more voice acting, over 400,000 words of dialogue and more than 150,000 end-game permutations. We hope you all have an amazing time playing it.

The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one on April 10, with Switch owners needing to wait a little longer.
