Overwatch 2 is gearing up for its third season and includes a nice surprising outfit
Blizzard have announced that the latest season of Overwatch, Season 3, has kicked off today and brings players a new map, a special outfit and a host of new collectables. Check out the launch trailer to get an idea of what is included.
The new map that players can take control of is a Control focused map and its Antarctica. The location has been seen in Overwatch before, during the Mei short that was released a while a go, but now players can visit this frosty locale. This snow-themed Control map features some unique sights, including an ice-breaker ship and an underground drilling station. With tons of flank routes and some offering a high-ground advantage over high-traffic areas and objectives, we can’t wait to see how the meta unfolds for this chilly battleground.
For those fans of One Punch Man, a special collaboration between the creators of the manga and Blizzard has taken place, the result is a collection of cosmetics from the beloved anime, including Saitama skin for Doomfist. More details on how it can be obtained are still to come.
It wouldn’t be Overwatch if there were not new cosmetics to obtain and there is a lot here, new charms, outfits and more. Plus there is the return of the Valentines events and new skins and lore based on Asian countries.
