Marvel’s Hit-Monkey is going ape in New York for season 2

Marvel have announced that Hit-Monkey, the second season, will arrive onto Disney+, specifically the Star section on July 15 and for those where Hulu is an option, it will arrive there the same day.

Marvel's "Hit-Monkey" tells the tale of a Japanese snow monkey, with Fred Tatasciore lending his voice, who sets out on a vengeful journey under the tutelage of Bryce, a spectral hitman voiced by Jason Sudeikis.

In the latest trailer for Season 2, the narrative shifts from the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to the bustling metropolis of New York City. Here, Monkey grapples with his newfound notoriety as the infamous "killer of killers," while Bryce seeks redemption for his past misdeeds. Olivia Munn and Ally Maki reprise their roles as Akiko Yokohama and Haruka, adding depth to the gripping storyline.

We always knew we wanted to set Season 2 in New York City, Like Tokyo, it’s a layered, gritty, cinematic place. But it also allowed us to dig into Bryce’s past and drag Monkey deeper into the messiness of the human world. It’s been the setting of so many Marvel stories before, but we wanted to show a more realistic version of the city. Still moody and complex, but more like the city we know.

In addition to the returning cast, new additions are Cristin Milioti, Leslie Jones, Rob Corddry, Jim Gaffigan and Keith David.
