Get your gear ready as XDefiant launches later this month

Ubisoft have announced that XDefiant is actually going to release and soon, as the game has been given the release date of May 22nd, with the game coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

For some strange reason though, there is no new footage of the game to go along with the announcement, so for now enjoy this gameplay video from a year ago.

The preseason, the games official release and name they have given to the first six weeks before their first season of content begins, kicks off at 3am on May 22nd. It will offer up all the same content that was found in the test phase, the below infographic shows what that includes.

A full breakdown on the content can be found here, but we do also have more details around the seasons. The first season will kick of six weeks after launch, so likely around the first week of July and each season will last 3 months. The below graphic shows off what the first year of content should look like, of course, details are not yet revealed but it should give you an idea.
