Gearbox Publishing and developer Wabisabi Games have announced RKGK, or Rakugaki, a new action-platforming graffiti title, drawing inspiration from others in the genre and a dash of anime. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

The city becomes your canvas. Join the defiant Valah and her RKGK crew to liberate the neo-brutalist Cap City from the clutches of the nefarious B Corp. Hunt for secret treasures, discover concealed routes, and bring color to the cold, grey concrete with your graffiti art.

How swift can you be? Link jumps, dashes, glides, and grinds in a seamless flow. Attain the ultimate flow state in Defacer mode – where Valah's realm transforms into her vibrant animated wonderland. Hone your skills and zip through levels, outsmarting Mr. Buff’s henchmen with flair.

Harness your power through art to defy Mr. Buff’s mind-control technology. Reclaim freedom for Cap City's residents and challenge your skills against the B Corp underlings. Valah's creativity and vision are the beacons leading you through a dark, oppressive world.

Colour is your strength. Graffiti is your protest. Wield art as the definitive statement to champion the underdog and illuminate the world. Armed with an array of paint and cosmetic customizations, Valah is set to restore her city and make a statement while doing so.

The game is expected to launch this Winter, but there is no set date yet. You can however wishlist the game on Steam.
