Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster comes to life this September

Capcom took the cover off Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster during their Capcom Next event, including the updates to make the game more enjoyable. The game is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC this September 19.

I should clarify, the game is launching digitally on September 19, but the physical release will take place in November, an exact date was not revealed.

One of the big things that the game is more than just a remaster, this Deluxe Remaster is a full graphical overhaul of the first game. That means all of the graphics, including the characters and environments, have been renewed, and greatly improved over the original. Character's facial expressions, material textures, and blood spatter all look much more realistic. Plus of course the overwhelming hordes of zombies fill the screen with completely remade graphics, looking more dangerous than ever. Below will give you a good idea of just how much better it looks now.

The gameplay has also seen some tweaks, not the core, you will still be able to bash enemies with whatever you find lying around the place, but in other areas there have been changes. There are various quality-of-life improvements, such as auto-saving, revamped controls, improved UI, and many other details.

The game is now also fully voiced for improved immersion and in more languages.

The game will come in a standard release and a Digital Deluxe release, making it the second option the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Digital Deluxe Edition, ensuring its doubly deluxe. It comes with a series of outfits for Frank to wear, each take from either Capcom games or fun outfits from the series, there are 17 in total. One example is Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 2 or how about Lan Hikari from Mega Man Battle Network. Each outfit also comes with a piece of music that can be played through out the mall.

The game is arriving on September 19 for PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S in digital form, with the physical release coming in November.
