Contract accepted as Star Wars Bounty Hunter is coming back this August
In a surprising reveal, Aspyr have announced that Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is getting the remaster treatment for all platforms and launching on August 1st, check out the trailer for it below.
Become the most feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy! As Jango Fett, you’ll have to jump, jetpack, climb, and manoeuvre in this iconic action-adventure game featuring a variety of visual improvements on modern platforms.
Set before the events of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, you'll play as Jango Fett, Prime Clone of the Grand Army of the Republic, hired to capture a deranged Dark Jedi. Fight your way through the galaxy’s underbelly, equipped with Dual Blasters, your Flamethrower, Whipcord, and pure Mandalorian Rage.
When the game first released, it was considered a canon story, with ILM even creating the games cutscenes, but that is no longer the case, which is sad as its a great story. The game also featured Temuera Morrison as Jango Fett, a role he played in Attack of the Clones.
The only thing that is unknown is which version of the game is the source of this port, as the game released on PlayStation 2 and GameCube, but the latter was the better looking version and ran at 60fps.
Either way it won’t be long until we find out as the game is launching on August 1st for Switch, PC, Xbox and PlayStation
